Gabriel Neila es licenciado en Filología Inglesa por la Universidad de Alcalá, Máster Oficial en Lingüística Aplicada a la Enseñanza de ELE por la Universidad de Jaén-Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana, Bachelor of Arts in Applied Modern Languages por la University of Northumbria at Newcastle y Diploma de Estudios Avanzados (DEA) dentro del programa de doctorado de Lenguas Modernas de la Universidad de Alcalá. En estos últimos años se encuentra en fase de elaboración de tesis doctoral dentro del programa de doctorado “Sociedad del Conocimiento y Acción en los ámbitos de la Educación, la Comunicación, los Derechos y las Nuevas Tecnologías” de la Universidad Internacional de la Rioja. Es profesor de español para extranjeros desde el año 2005, formador de profesores y ponente en diversos congresos de lingüística nacionales e internacionales. Ha trabajado como profesor de ELE en Alcalingua-Universidad de Alcalá y como lector en la Universidad de Thammasat (Tailandia) dentro del programa MAEC-AECID. En la actualidad es asesor pedagógico y formador de profesores ELE en la editorial Edinumen.

Gabriel Neila has a university Degree in English Studies from the University of Alcalá, an official Master Degree in Applied Linguistics to the Teaching of Spanish from the University of Jaén. He is also Bachelor of Arts in Applied Modern Languages from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) within the Modern Languages PhD program of the University of Alcalá. In recent years, he has been preparing his PhD thesis within the program “Society of Knowledge and Action in the fields of Education, Communication, Rights and New Technologies” of the International University of La Rioja. He is teacher of Spanish for foreigners since 2005, teacher trainer and speaker at several national and international linguistics conferences. He worked as a university professor at Thammasat University (Thailand) within the MAEC-AECID program. Currently he works as a Spanish teacher in Alcalingua-Universidad de Alcalá. He is also one of the pedagogical advisors and teacher trainers at Edinumen publishing house.
